British/Commonwealth Medal to Commemorate the Coronation of Edward VII - 26th June 1902
A small, gilt brass and enamel medal to celebrate the Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandria on the 26th June 1902.
This actually happened on the 9th of Aug 1902, as the King was taken suddenly ill ( he was diagnosed with a abdominal abscess that required immediate surgery), so was postponed at short notice.
Enamel is in good condition to central wreath, with minor wear and tone to gilt finish overall. Came out of New Zealand, so may have just been issued there.
