William was a warehouseman prior to his joining the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force in 1943. He lists a Island Bay address, in Wellington as his home address.
He was part of the New Zealand Artillery during WW2.
Both his dog tags are in good condition, with light wear. They are tied together with a piece of string.
