A single piece, Gold (Not marked) sweethearts badge to the New Zealand Machine Gun Corps.
I believe to be WW1 vintage , just due to the hook, hinge and pin assembly to back which fits with the period.
Light wear to front, but some damage to machine gun barrel on the gun leaning from left to right. It looks like someone started to cut into the badge.
To back, the broach fitting is in good working order.
Sadly no maker mark.
