A single piece, gilt brass cap badge to the New Zealand 14th (South Otago) Infantry Regiment.
Formed 1911, they amalgamated with the 8th (Southland) Infantry Regiment to become the Southland Regiment.
Light wear to front, with good gilt to front.
To back are 2 copper looped lugs, firm but slightly pulled.
No maker mark.
