A single piece, gilt brass cap badge to the New Zealand Armed Forces.
This is the early type, which a much wider body, similar in style to the WW1 NZ Expeditionary Forces type.
Light wear to front with just a tone spot to top of crown. The gilt finish has dulled with age.
To back are two copper looped lugs, firm and original.
