A non-matching pair (just slight difference in crown and size of NZ to center between the two) of gilt brass collar badges worn by New Zealand Military Forces during WW2 (and just after), who were serving oversea's and outside NZ.
Wear and tone to both is similar, with traces of old polish to detail.
To back, it looks as if they had hex, flat type lugs on both at one stage, which have been neatly clipped off.... Idea for mounting in a frame with medals.
