A single piece, right (when worn - note the Eagles head) collar badge to the WW1 New Zealand 3rd (Auckland) Mounted Rifles.
Light wear to front, with good gilt colour. Note to lower left banner, there is a die fault and some discouration.
To back are two copper D shaped looped lugs, firm and original and the maker plaque for "J R Gaunt, London".
