Probably one of the nicest in the generic WW1 New Zealand Reinforcement badges to the Infantry. This represents the 21st Infantry Reinforcements, and depicts a NZ Fantail, a native bird of NZ, with the letters of New Zealand across the tips of its tail, above a banner with the words "21st Reinforcements".
Some wear to gilt finish, especially around the body of the bird to center.
Badge comes with a broach fitting, sadly broken to back. Its missing the pin, but hinge and hook are still present.
Hard to tell on whether it ever had lugs, but is cap badge size.
