A single piece, darkened copper collar badge to the WW1 Canadian CEF 47th (Vancouver) Infantry Battalion.
Much polishing of darkened finish to front, with now only remnants to back.
To back are 4 blades or tangs, in good order, with no splits or creases.
Well maker marked across the whole of the back to "Made in B.C. Jacoby Bros, Vancouver, B.C.".
I think this has been glued to a board, and would explain the darkened substance to each tip of each tang or blade.
