A post 1889 Maltese Cross worn on the shoulder strap (instead of titles) for Other Ranks in the Royal Malta Artillery. Also worn by Sergeants on their shoulder straps, but when in undress.
Some wear and polishing to front, with traces of old polish to detail.
To back are two copper looped lugs, which are crushed. One would allow a pin to fit through (see pictures for condition). Both are firm and original to back.
