A nice, 2 piece, WW1 Steel Ersatz Buckle and leather tab to the Imperial German state of Saxony.
Some light wear to front, which has a few slight dings to crown, and surface rust.
Leather tab is supple and firmly attached to Buckle, but has no markings I can see.
To back, the prong bar and integrated catch are in good order. Some slight surface rust and could do with a bit of a clean.
Stamped just after the catch and towards the edge is the maker mark of "M E Peicker, Dresden"
