A single piece, large brass cap badge to the WW1 Canadian Expeditionary Force.
Light wear to front, with some polishing.
To back are no lugs (posts can still be seen) and a layer of solder, I just wonder if this badge was sweated onto a object, like a match box case or shell.
Faint maker mark which I think says "P W Ellis & Co, 1914", but I could be wrong.
Ideal for framing up with some medals, and not having to deal with lugs poking through the backing board.
