A single piece, thin gilt brass Cap badge to the Japanese Government Railways (JGR).
Slightly different to the other I have listed, with a cross-section of a Rail to top, with wings, within the wheel.
Worn from 1900 to just after WW2.
Toned gilt finish to front, with little wear to detail.
To back are two tangs, firm and original to back, but a little bent.
