A single, gilt brass 22mm gilt brass button to the 2nd North Canterbury Infantry Volunteers.
Formed in 1903, it was disbanded in 1911, with the formation of the Canterbury Infantry Regiment.
Light wear to front, with now a dull gilt finish overall.
To back is a fixed shank, firmed and original.
Maker marked to "Firmin & Sons Ld, London".
