New Zealand 1881 Patt Wellington Guards Rifle Volunteers 25mm Button - No Shank
A large, white metal 25mm button to the Wellington Guards Rifle Volunteers.
It has a QVC crown and was first introduced in 1881.
Light wear, but a dirty tone to front, but good detail.
To back, is a brass backing, but NO shank. I have super-glued a wire loop on to back, to allow me to display on a board. This can easily be removed, with the old glue taken off.
Maker marked to back, which is slightly obscured to "Hobson & Sons, 37 & 38 Windmill, London"
