A die struck, gilt brass Cap badge to the New Zealand Artillery. Worn by the NZFA during WW1.
This example has no dots to the "NZ" to top banner.
It also has thick copper looped lugs, much found on Stokes & Sons made badges from Melbourne Australia. It is not maker marked.
To back, only two out of the 3 lugs are present. Someone has snipped the top lug off behind the crown.
Stokes made a number of badges, shoulder titles and buttons for the New Zealand forces just prior and during WW1.
