A single piece, gilt brass Cap badge to the WW1 Canadian CEF 52nd (New Ontario) Infantry Battalion.
Light wear, with some gilt finish to front.
To back was a brooch fitting, only the hook (crushed) and part of the hinge remain.
To top of maple leaf, to back, is the maker mark of "Tiftaft Bham".
