New Zealand Royal NZ Armoured Corps Collar Badge - Pair 1947 to 1952 Gilt Fired Brass
A rather scarce pair of opposing (note the gun barrel on the tank points inwards on both badges in the photo) to the Royal New Zealand Armoured Corps.
Worn from 1947 (when the corps was granted the prefix "ROYAL") to 1952ish, these two collars are in gilt fired brass with silver centers (both are marked "S" for Silver to back).
Both have some light wear and tone to highpoints to front.
To back are 2 D shaped looped lugs, a "S" for Silver and one has the maker mark, impressed for "J R Gaunt, London".
