A gilt metal copy of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police Cap Badge with Queens crown.
Made in the mid 1970's, by Gaunt for the collectors market, it has good detail to front, but is cast, and not die-stamped like the original.
To back are two looped lugs, firm and with large gilt brass makers disc to center with "GAUNT LONDON" (which I think is a backing plate from a button!!!).
No date, so this is NOT from the centenary set.
Great as a space filler, and priced accordingly.
