A single piece, nickle silver buttonhole Kings badge, issued during and after WW2.
This is the British version, which is not marked with a serial number.
Issued to servicemen who, as a result of their injuries, had been discharged from active service. The badge was to show that they were a Veteran in civilian clothes.
Light wear and good detail to front.
To back is a buttonhole fitting, firm and original, just slightly bent upwards.
No maker mark.
