A 2 piece, gilt brass and white metal cap badge to the Royal Canadian Regiment.
The badge has a complicated history and has had 4 different crowns, sometimes used concurrently.

This looks to be a 1940 or WW2 version, and whose Imperial Crown was adopted by the regiment in 1926.
Badge is in good condition, but note the touch of verdi gris to crown and backing plate which should clean if desired.
To back are two copper looped lugs, firm and original.
No maker mark and is Mazea's M.1.
