A large, 25mm gilt brass button to the New Zealand Staff Corps.
The NZ Staff Corps were formed in 1911 and were tasked in organising NZ Territorial Force.
During WW1 and WW2 its members were either drafted into NZ Permanent Staff Corps or served with other Military units. It was disbanded in 1947.
Button is in good, slightly polished condition to front.
To back is long brass shank, firm and original, along with the maker mark of 'J R Gaunt & Son Ltd, London, FNC LD.'
