A gilt brass cap badge to the WW1 11th (Taranaki) Infantry Regiment which has been converted into a Sweethearts badge.
Extra gilt finish has been applied to badge, which is in good condition, with light wear to front.
To back is a long bar broach fitting attached after the lugs of the badge have been removed.
Fitting is in good working order, with hinge, hook and pin all present.
To base, back, is a maker plaque for 'J R Gaunt, London'.
