A gilt metal and enamel pin badge to a Nurse working for the Auckland Hospital Board.
Dated from around the 1930's, it has the number "573" stamped to back.
Many of these nursing personnel went on to serve in the New Zealand Armed Forces during WW2.
Sadly a bit of damage to both white and blue enamel to front, with chips, cracks and missing sections.
To back, the broach fitting is in good working order, with hook, hinge and pin all present.
Sadly I do not know the Nurse's name who wore this, but imagine that it could be traceable via records in New Zealand.
