A single piece, brass Cap or left Collar badge (worn as either) to the New Zealand Rifle Brigade.
This is a New Zealand made badge, sold to the Rifle Brigade Reinforcements in Camp during WW1, while they trained. Most noticeable is its size, as its slightly larger than the British made and regimentally issued ones, and it has a straight pennant or banner to top.
Light wear to front, with two thin wire lugs, firm and original to back.
