A single, semi-solid, darkened brass collar badge to the 8th (Southland) Infantry Regiment.
Right (when worn), there is some light wear to front, and the spear, though complete, is slightly bent.
To back are 2 D shaped copper looped lugs and a old collectors label/number to back.
No maker mark.
Note 8th cap and collars came in brass or darkened copper.
