A rare local New Zealand maker on a 25mm New Zealand Forces uniform button.
WW1 only, with good detail to front, and some gilt finish.but some tone spots.
To back is a fixed shank, original, but a little loose, along with the maker mark of "Van Staveren, Wellington".
A hard one to find.
