A WW1 German, Prussian all steel Ersatz belt buckle.
No paint remains to front and only a little in detail to back.
Some pitting, and note the catch end. Looks to have been used with a 50mm belt, so hence why the sides are splade outwards to allow the bar catch to fit against the D catch.
To back, prong bar, D catch and prongs are all in good working order.
No maker mark.
