New Zealand WW1 Trio to 23/755 SJT. G. E. Fricker N.Z.E.F. - 1st Batt, 3rd NZRB
A full size set of three WW1 medals to 23/755 Sergeant George Edward Fricker of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force.
All medals are correctly impressed with George's details
George was a Laborer, born in Awamoko, which is a rural area on the boundary of the Canterbury-Otago border in the South Island of New Zealand. His address and next of kin (his father) is listed as Georgetown, which is in the same area.
George started his service on the 30th of May 1915, and went on to spend 3 years and 96 days oversea's in Egypt (1915-1916) and France/the Western Front (1916-1917-1918). He rose from the rank of Rifleman to Sergeant with the 1st Batt of the 3rd NZRB.
This is George's full entitlement, and all are in good condition, with original lengths of ribbon attached.
George passed away in 1972.
