Canada 5th Princess Louise Dragoon Guard Collar Badge - 1903 to 1920
A single, darkened brass collar badge to the 5th Princess Louise Dragoon Guards.
Formed from a enlargement of a squadron to regimental size from the 2nd Anglo-Boer war in 1903.
The 5th Princess Louise Dragoon Guards were not called up for World War I, but instead contributed men to the 8th Regiment, Canadian Mounted Rifles.
In 1920, they dropped the "5th" from their regimental title and just became the Princess Louise Dragoon Guards.
Light wear to front, with slight vedi gris and dirt to back.
Both copper looped lugs are firm and original to front.
